I am Indonesian fashion blogger and I love Batik pattern, a national pattern that has been claimed by UNESCO as Indonesian heritage. If flower prints or animal prints is internationally known, Batik just can be found in Indonesia. I bought this clothes in Beringharjo traditional market in Yogyakarta. I don't know the price, but it cost about $3 if I'm not wrong.
As you have seen on my banner, you know how I love batik. It's very ethnic. There are 2 kinds of batik, based on how the batik is made. First is Batik Tulis, which is made by "writing the pattern" on the clothes. It needs an extra patience to do this! Because of the high value of the handmade, it cost expensive. Second, it called "Batik Cap", which it is manufactured or printed in the more modern way, so it cost cheaper. If you are interested to buy Batik outfits that are 100% made in Indonesia, I recommend you to visit BatikIndonesia.com, my favorite reference to get to know about batik. You'll see a ton of beautiful patterns ^^
